Kennedy International (JFK) and La Guardia Airport (LGA) and campuses in Connecticut. All our drivers receive complete background checks and carry company ID’s. You will always feel secure in the knowledge that pick-ups and drop-offs can be within the safety of the campus and the airport terminals.

For students and visitors to Quinnipiac, the main pick-up and drop-off points are the New Road Entrance Security Check Point for the Mt. Carmel Campus and the Shuttle Bus Stop on the York Hill Campus. Service is also available to local hotels.

Please allow plenty of time for unexpected traffic delays, airport check-in, security and COVID procedures. Estimated times are exactly that. Traffic is especially unpredictable getting into the airports and is beyond our control.

Reservations are required for all travel to the airports from Qyuinnipiac University and the surrounding area. The first Shared Service of the day starts in New Haven around 3:30am and is estimated into La Guardia at approximately 5:45am, and JFK at approximately 6:15am. When available the last Shared Service usually departs from New Haven approximately 4:45pm. When booking your reservation you will be provided an estimated pickup time. Please allow us up to 15 minutes after the estimated time to allow for other pickups in the area and possible unanticipated traffic delays. All our vehicles are tracked with GPS so you can contact us for an update if necessary.

Shared ride and private car service between Quinnipiac University and JFK or LaGuardia is frequently used by students, faculty, visiting families, and campus guests traveling from Hamden and the greater New Haven area. Travelers should consider peak commuter traffic toward New York City and seasonal airport congestion when selecting departure times.

Advance reservations are required for outbound airport travel to ensure proper vehicle availability and scheduling.

Reservations are strongly recommended due to limited capacity. Walk-ons are accepted based on availability. For service to Quinnipiac and the surrounding area, vehicles depart JFK approximately once per hour at random intervals from approximately 7:00AM until 9:00PM. Service from La Guardia Airport is from approximately 7:30AM until 9:30PM when available. Average waiting time for our Shuttle service is currently 30 to 40 minutes once “ready to go” at the Welcome Center. Wait time is not measured from Landing or Gate Arrival time. When possible anticipated schedule changes will be communicated the day before travel to the mobile phone or the email address provided for the traveling passenger(s).

Transportation from JFK and LaGuardia to Quinnipiac University serves students returning to the Mt. Carmel or York Hill campuses, visiting parents, international travelers, and academic guests. Shared ride service operates throughout the day based on availability, with private car service available for direct transportation.

Because travel demand increases during move-in weekends, semester breaks, and holiday periods, reservations are strongly recommended.
